How do I cancel my booking with WestJet Airlines?

If you have booked your flight with WestJet Airlines in advance but unfortunately, you have to cancel this flight because of the unforeseen situation, you are allowed to cancel your flight.

You can cancel your flight by contacting the WestJet Airlines customer care team by dialing their toll-free number anytime (24/7) or you can cancel the flight through MANAGE BOOKING option on the WestJet Airlines website by following the given steps:

    • Go to the website of WestJet Airlines at www.westjet.com by using any web browser on your device
    • Click on the MANAGE AND PLAN tab at the top of the screen
    • Click on FLIGHT under MANAGE TRIPS
    • Now you need to enter the Reservation Code from the ticket along with your last name
    • Click on the Search button
    • You will be able to see your flight details with various options
    • You need to click on CANCEL
    • Confirm your action by following the onscreen instructions
    • Once you are done with this, you will receive an email or SMS or both confirming the flight cancellation along with the details.

What are the terms and conditions of canceling a WestJet Airlines flight booking?

You are allowed to cancel a flight booking with WestJet Airlines at least 2 hours before the scheduled departure time of the flight. You need to pay the cancellation fee or not depends on the WestJet Airlines cancellation policy given below:

If you canceled a flight booking within 24 hours of the time you purchased the ticket providing the flight was booked before 7 days of the flight booking time, you don't need to pay the cancellation fee. The full amount will be refunded in your bank in the original form of payment.

If you are canceling the flight after 24 hours of the booking time or the flight was booked within the 7 days of the scheduled departure of the flight, there might be a cancellation fee.

You are not allowed to cancel the flight within the 120 minutes of the scheduled departure time of the flight. No refund will be processed if there is no show by the passenger.

You are suggested to go through the cancellation policy before you cancel the flight in order to avoid unwanted and unbearable cancellation charges.
